Once again, I (Maureen) see a Great Flame that I have come to know as the Heart of God the Father. He says: "The reason these things happen - the hurricanes - is not because I, the Lord of the Universe, enjoy visiting earth with My Wrath. Mankind must experience adversity in order to unite in dependency upon Me, My Protection and My Provision. It is true I can redirect and weaken any storm. However, I have been unable to redirect and weaken the evil in hearts. Man is too dependent upon his own efforts and his own ingenuity."
"One aspect of human existence that man is unable to control and manipulate is the weather. He has to turn to Me for help. I am listening to the humble prayer for assistance. It will come in various ways. Allow Me to be Lord of the present moment."

Jesus Stills the Storm
And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him, saying, "Save, Lord; we are perishing." And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, "What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?"
